Cud U Plz ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: Email address, username, encrypted password hash, and optional profile photos.
Task & Transaction Data: Information contained in task postings, task completion statuses, in-app messages, and virtual coin transaction history.
Location Data: General location/city provided by you or selected to show relevant local tasks. We do not track continuous background GPS location without explicit user permission.
Device & Technical Data: Device model, operating system version, crash logs, and performance metrics to ensure system reliability.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate and secure user accounts.
To enable task posting, helper matching, and in-app communications.
To process virtual coin balances and maintain marketplace ledger integrity.
To detect fraud, prevent abuse, and enforce our Terms of Service.
To comply with legal obligations and Apple App Store Review Guidelines.

3. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties. We only share information with trusted infrastructure providers necessary for the core functionality of the App:

Supabase: Cloud database, storage, and authentication provider.
Resend: Transactional email service for authentication codes and security alerts.
Apple: Payment processor for In-App Purchases on iOS devices.

4. Data Retention & Account Deletion (Apple Guideline 5.1.1(v))

You have full control over your personal data:

Direct In-App Deletion: You can permanently delete your account at any time directly in the app by going to Settings ➔ Delete Account.
Upon account deletion, all personal profile information, authentication records, and direct messages are permanently purged or anonymized from our production databases.

5. Data Security

We apply robust industry-standard security measures, including SSL/TLS encryption for all data in transit and encrypted databases at rest, to prevent unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
